Kate Xavier is the Community Cohesion consultant at the Association of Independent schools. She is passionate about developing strong, cohesive and inclusive school communities. Kate has worked in the Diversity Education for over five years as the Senior Education Officer at Together for Humanity facilitating Teacher Professional Learning in Intercultural Understanding and Family and Community Engagement. She has worked across all education sectors as a Secondary HSIE teacher. Kate is a mother of 2 daughters and active member of their school P & C.
