This course has been created by the Australian Council of State School Associations in collaboration with Together for Humanity. The course supports beginning teachers understand the nature of family engagement in order to establish and maintain respectful and collaborative relationships with parents. Participants explore the evidence-based benefits of family engagement, the potential challenges and develop skills to promote communication and connection. 

It was designed for beginning teachers but useful for all teachers wanting to form deeper connections to enhance the learning and wellbeing of their students.
